Beta draft — last updated June 2026

CaptionPilot is in beta. These terms are a plain-language draft, not legal advice, and will receive a full legal review before public paid launch.

The service

CaptionPilot provides real-time caption transcription and correction for live streams: a desktop capture app, a correction pipeline, a web dashboard, and an OBS browser-source overlay. The service is provided as a beta — features, limits, and behavior may change.

Your account

  • You're responsible for keeping your login credentials and overlay URL private.
  • You must have the right to capture and caption the audio you run through the service.
  • One account per person; don't share accounts to bypass plan limits.

Plans, usage, and billing

  • Usage is measured by processed caption time. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of caption hours.
  • Prices and plan limits may change during beta; we'll communicate changes.
  • Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe and can be cancelled any time via the customer portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no attempts to break, overload, or reverse the correction pipeline; no reselling captions as a service without an agreement; no use that violates law or platform rules of Twitch, YouTube, or similar services.

Beta disclaimer

Captions are generated automatically and corrected heuristically. Accuracy varies with audio quality, speech, and game vocabulary, and is not guaranteed. The service is provided “as is” during beta, without warranties, and may be interrupted or changed. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the preceding three months.

Privacy

How we handle audio, transcripts, and account data is described in the Privacy Policy.
